I may be ten years old, but every calls me such a sweety. I would really love to find a home to live the rest of my life in. I’ve been here for a while, since August! Please, consider adopting me if you can open your heart out to me!

If you look through tumblr, you’ll find a huge amount of people calling others out for being ‘attention whores,’ or ‘fakers,’ or people calling each others’ cuts ‘superficial.’
Realistically, is a person who tells everyone they cut any less deserving or in need of help than someone who tells no…
This is icon picture thingy for this blog. (: I got the picture from weheartit.com and then I edited it and added the words.
So someone came forward to apologize for making upsetting comments about mental illnessI sort of want to apologize to world for how I react sometimes.
I’ve struggled with depression, panic attacks and anxiety for a long time. I’ve got things under control but even moving forward they still complicate my life. I spent a lot of time close to killing myself and I spent a lot of time desperately trying to get help. My friends and family brushed me off because they didn’t understand the nature of my illness.
All that amounts to frustration when people deny or don’t understand mental illness. Because of my history I sometimes react aggressively. I use strong sarcasm and curse words. I attack the person.
I’m sorry for that.
I don’t think anyone comments on metal illness with hate in their heart. It’s not like people are bigots against mental illness. I understand that most people are poorly educated about mental illness and they don’t understand how powerful their words are.
It’s just frustrating beyond all ends because there is no way to really make them understand. Before I developed my own problems I was constantly coaching my boyfriend away from suicide, and I remember being clueless as to why he just couldn’t cheer up or look on the bright side.
I’m sorry to anyone I ever snapped at or belittled.
If anyone has any questions about mental illness, compulsions, self harm or anything of that nature please ask me. I’ll do my best to explain whats going on. I’d be happy to answer with personal experiences and medical science. I have a good arsenal of websites to help too.
If anyone out there is suffering, I’m always open. I’ll listen if that’s all you want. I’ll help you find the help you need and deserve if thats what you want.
Its no one’s fault that mental illness is so hard to understand, but it is your responsibility to educate yourself.
